5G technology enables quicker and more efficient data transmission, improving the digital experience for users.
"We have been working tirelessly to modernize our network for a year, and now we are very proud to announce the launch of the 5G network in 11 more cities. This is a great achievement for Ucom specialists and a great opportunity for our subscribers, as in our time, high-quality connectivity is an important factor for digital transformation and technological development in Armenia. The needs of our subscribers are always in the spotlight, and we promise to continue improving the quality of our services every day," said General Director of Ucom, Ralph Yirikian.
The new high-speed network is accessible to all subscribers of prepaid, postpaid, and corporate mobile plans (excluding mobile internet-only plans) with 5G-compatible smartphones running Android or iOS. Ucom is also actively collaborating with Samsung to enable 5G access on Samsung smartphones.
Ucom plans to expand its 5G coverage and will provide regular updates on new projects, making this advanced connection available to a broader audience.
