The "Impact Innovations Institute Initiatives" foundation, within the framework of the WISE program, is opening a call for 4 small scale grants up to 820,000 AMD each.
The program supports organizations working on women's rights, GBV, and VE issues. It seeks to raise awareness, prevent violence, and promote gender equality in inclusive, democratic societies. Also, introducing and raising awareness about the Safe YOU app.
The grant programs are intended for non-profit organizations, public educational institutions, and civil society organizations focused on addressing women’s and girls' issues. Organizations implementing innovative programs in violence prevention, community engagement, and social justice are especially encouraged to apply.
The proposed programs can cover the following areas:
• Education, training, and skills development for targeted communities, schools, and VETs;
• Social and mass media campaigns to raise awareness;
• Collaboration with local governments and coordination between communities and municipalities.
The proposed project should include raising Awareness-raising activities about the Safe YOU app, regardless of the main focus of the proposed project.
The application deadline is September 30. Applicants must submit an electronic application that includes the program details and budget. Winners will also have the opportunity to participate in informational training sessions to ensure the best implementation of their grant projects. The selection process will conclude on October 15, and final contracts will be signed by October 25.
Two info sessions will be held to assist potential applicants in properly preparing their applications. The sessions are scheduled for September 13 and 19 at 2:30 PM. To join and receive the Zoom link, applicants must complete the registration form here.
The WISE SSG Program offers small grants to women-run CSOs, grassroot organizations, and organizations focused on women's, girls', and minority issues. These grants aim to address, prevent, and combat Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Violent Extremism (VE) across Armenia.
