At its November 15 session, Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission will approve the transaction on selling MTS-Armenia CJSC.
The relevant draft decision is published on the website of the commission.
It says, in particular, that MTS-Armenia CJSC applied to the commission on November 3, saying that Fedilco Group Limited company registered in Cyprus wishes to acquire 100 percent of shares from Aramayo Investments Limited company.
The draft decision states that the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the National Security Service have no objections to the signing of the deal.
Itel.am notes that in 2023 the Commission on Protection of Competition of Armenia banned the acquisition of the shares of MTS Armenia CJSC by Fedilco Group Limited company.
The Public Services Regulatory Commission was also against the deal. In particular, in the decision published in April, it was stated that the National Security Service gave a negative conclusion, as the transactions threatens the national security and state interests of the Republic of Armenia.
