Beeline is is selling its business in Georgia, regulator says

Russian mobile operator Beeline is selling the business and heading out of Georgia.

NewsGeorgia reports that head of Georgian National Communications Commission Kakha Bekauri shared the news in the interview to Georgian Public Broadcasting.

Beeline has operated in Georgia since 2007, represented by VEON Georgia.

The company has over 870,000 subscribers in the country.

VEON Georgia has yet to comment on the statement by the National Communications Commission.
